Helicopter flight over a glacier

Get ready for an incredible adventure! Imagine soaring through the sky in a helicopter, gazing at the breathtaking Chugach Range. As you fly over snow-capped peaks and winding river valleys, you'll be treated to a truly awe-inspiring sight. But hold on tight because the best is yet to come.

Touching down on over 91 metres of glacial ice, you'll find yourself stepping onto a frozen wonderland that has been around for thousands of years. Encounter blue pools, swirling moulins, deep gorges, and dramatic ice formations. It's like entering another world altogether.

But the adventure doesn't stop there. Brace yourself for an up-close encounter with the Knik Glacier as you embark on a walk across its frozen surface. The mighty Knik Glacier, one of the largest glaciers in southern Alaska, is nearly 42 kilometres long and about 10 kilometres in diameter and is just one of several glaciers in the Old River Valley. In addition to wildlife viewing from the air (moose, Dall sheep, spawning salmon and bears), you'll have phenomenal views of towering waterfalls, glacial lakes and the pristine wilderness of the Last Frontier.
