Best travel time

The months of June through August and December through March are ideal for travelling to Whistler. The peak skiing season in the Alps occurs from December through February; although temperatures are warmer in March, there is still good snow.

In May the sun starts shining and the average temperatures reach 17 degrees Celsius. This is a good time to spot bears emerging from hibernation and strolling around the golf course and Whistler Mountain as a result of the milder weather.
