Hiking in Jasper National Park

One of the best ways to explore Jasper National Park is on foot. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and flowers with your friends and feel connected to nature. It is also an excellent way to see deer, elk, and sheep.

Enthusiastic guides

The Canadian Rockies have something for everyone to explore, from the refreshing mist and waterfalls of Maligne Canyon to the high-altitude landscape and stunning vistas of Cavell Meadows! Sean and Joy, the owners of this local company, have been hiking and climbing instructors in Jasper for many years. They are always happy to show visitors around this wonderful location.

A spectacular walk

This famous route begins on an old fire road at Maligne Lake. It varies from moderate to steep in places, with breathtaking vistas along the route. Joy explains more about the flora and fauna, as well as Canadian history along the route. If you look closely, you can see a variety of animals. The trek is roughly 10 to 12 kilometres long and climbs 500/650 metres. You'll leave at 8:00 a.m. and be on the road for six to eight hours.
