Kenai Fjords National Park

Located on the northeastern portion of Alaska's Kenai Peninsula, Kenai Fjords National Park has been shaped over a millennium by the mountains, glaciers, and the landscape is constantly changing. The park's most famous landmark is the Harding Icefield, which was formed during the last ice age.

Black Rapids Glacier

Black Rapids Glacier is part of the Alaska Range, and is nearly 40 kilometres long, making it one of the largest glaciers in Eastern Alaska. During the winter months, visitors who want to explore the valley can more easily access the glacier.

Palmer, Alaska

The Mat-Su Valley is a hiker’s paradise, and the gorgeous, temperate weather in the summer makes these lower-elevation valleys a popular spot. The valley has almost 60 thousand square kilometres of untamed wilderness, many glaciers, and is home to many nice small towns, like Palmer.
